My Favorite Things

When you find something you love you want to share it.  If its something you are passionate about you want to shout it from the roof top.  Two of my favorite passions are tea and paper crafting.  Could you get a better combination?   Paper crafting with a cuppa tea!

I discovered my love of tea in my early twenties.  I blame this obsession with all things tea on two things, my English heritage and the first truly cold winter I encountered when we moved to Missoula Montana.  My passion for a good cup of tea has only increased with time. I am affectionately known as a tea snob and can found with a quality tea bag with me at all times!  No not all tea is created equally.

I was introduced to paper crafting more than 25 years ago by a neighbor hosting a home party.  I had never tried anything like it before and honestly went to support my neighbor.  Well I enjoyed creating the make and take card and decided to invest in a stamp set.  I was not sure how much time I would have to create as my children will little and I was a busy mom.  I started creating while my kids were napping or at night.  It was fun and very relaxing. My husband honestly wondered if this would be another passing phase.  We have all started something and not stuck with it.  Paper crafting however was different.  I found I could make the kids valentines cards for school, Birthday party invitations, Thank you notes and more.  I had a group of friends who also enjoyed creating with paper and we would get together and share ideas and encourage each other.  When I felt comfortable creating cards I moved into creating scrapbook pages.  So much of what you do with cards can transfer over into creating beautiful scrapbook pages.  What started with an invitation to come to a home party has grown into a passion for creating with paper.  24 years later (iving in Meridian, Idaho) I am still creating with paper while enjoying a cuppa tea!

Last August I discovered Fun Stampers Journey and fell in love.  The stamps, paper and accessories are simply amazing.  I found with the multi media options I could learn new things and create in new ways.  The possibilities are endless.  I was excited by all FSJ had to offer and I wanted to share it with others. I signed up as a Journey Coach and I am sharing all things FSJ.  I host card work shops, technique classes and special events.

You can check out FSJ,  my class options and creations several ways.  Check Out:
