Cup Of Happines

My English heritage is on full display when it comes to a Cup Of Tea. I truly am a tea snob when it comes to enjoying a cup of tea and all things tea related.

I love this new set by Fun Stampers Journey.

This fun simple card was created on the whip cream card stock and I added just a bit of color with Sweet Berry.  I used the Coffee Helps stamp (ss-0569) and die set (di-0430) to complete the card.

April is coming to a close and along with it our Splish Splash Sparkle sale.  Order by April 30th to take advantage of this great savings.

Welcome

This bog was created about a month ago and I realized I never officially welcomed you all to my page.  Perfect reason to make a card!

This card was created using Fun Stampers Journey products.  The card stock colors are Cool Pool and Banana Cream.  I used Dark Roast Ink along with Dark Roast and Sparkle silks.  I used the Welcome ATS and the cute cup in the corner is from the Tea Time Stamp set that also comes with a matching die set.  So no fussy cutting!

Sparkle silks add a hint of color and sparkle to any card.  This month they are on sale for 20% off.  You can purchase them directly off my website.  Just click the shopping cart at the right.

Dahlia Burst

I live in Meridian Idaho and signs of spring are popping up out of the ground and on the trees.  The days are longer, temperatures are on the rise and we are enjoying the sunshine.  With these signs of spring I find my cards are filled with flowers and bright colors.

I am in love with this Dahlia Burst stamp set and coordinating Die from Fun Stampers Journey.  This particular card features the bright Summer Days Card Stock for a pop of color on the River Stone Card Stock base.  The hint of silver on the card is FSJ Silver Sparkle Tape.  The flower and leave were colored in with FSJ Pan Pastels.

This set includes three different dahlia flower sizes along with two leaf sizes.  You can also purchase the matching die set which is a match to all five of the stamps.

Check out my website (see the button at the top right) to purchase this set or any other Fun Stampers Journey products.

Tealightful Tuesday Happy Mail

E-mails, texts, tweets, facebook and Instagram have become trendy ways to communicate.   Some of us even use Snapchat and send a photo, no words needed.  A phone call and what is now refereed to as snail mail are used in frequently. I miss snail mail, the unexpected note or card that appears in the mail box.  It seems to be something we are losing in our society as we get busier and busier.

I would love to change that for one of your friends. I have created Tealightful Tuesday Happy Mail.  Each Tuesday I will post a card here and on my facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/Tealightfulscrapbooking/

Just leave a comment, tag someone or just leave there first name in the comment section here or on my facebook page and I will select a random winner at the end of the day.  I will contact the winner and get the recipients address and your personal message and I will even mail it for you.  Easy Peasy as they say.  Who's day would you like to brighten?

This weeks card is a bright happy sunflower card.

Pan Pastels

I have discovered Pan Pastels!  They are such a fun way to add and blend color on a card.  Pan Pastels are ultra-soft artists' quality pastels.  They provide rich low-dust formulations that are high pigments. You simply apply and blend them like paint.

Below are four cards I created using Pan Pastels

Would you like to create these four cards and learn how to work with Pan Pastels?  I am offering a technique class on Thursday March 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The cost of the class is $20.00 and you will will receive your very own Gold Pan Pastel to take home and use.  To register please e-mail me at loves.tea@gmail.com -  subject line pan pastels.

Each month Fun Stampers Journey offers a special March is called Over The Rainbow.  Check out the details above and order directly via my shopping cart.

Valentines Day 2018

According to the calendar today is the day we recognize and celebrate those we love.  In creating and sending handmade cards throughout the year I am choosing to recognize, value and celebrate those I love not just one day a year but, many times over in the year.

Every once in awhile you create a card that you fall in love with.  To be honest you amaze even yourself with what you have created.  This year I think I hit it out of the park -  yes I am tooting my own horn!

This beautiful  card is created using two of my favorite Fun Stampers Journey Card stock colors  -Bubble Gum and Watermelon Fusion.   The Whip Cream card stock was embossed with FSJ I Heart embossing folder.  It was then dusted with Pan Pastels in Bubble Gum and Silver.  The stamp is from the 2017-2018 Inspiration Catalog and is called You Are (it is only$8.95 to purchase).  The card is pulled together with Satin Watermelon Fusion Ribbon and accented with Brushed Silver Organza Ribbon.

Please remember today You are amazing, beautiful, remarkable, brilliant & loved.

Treat Bags

Treat Bags are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways.  I love these small ones Fun Stampers Journey offers.  So many uses for them.  This is a current project using them.

I am creating 300 (yes you read that correctly 300) Thank You bags for a non-profit I volunteer with. They are celebrating 10 years and wanted a small "party favor" people could take with them as they leave.

I am currently attaching the paper hearts to each bag and tying them up.  I used Fun Stampers Journey Clear Bags (50 in a package) Candy Apple Red Card-stock, Romantic Journey Printed Paper and Journey Candy Apple Twine.  You can order any off these supplies off my website - link located at the top right of this blog.

I also used these bags to create these fun Christmas gifts for all the gals who attend my classes. These bags can be used in so many ways and are such a fun size to work with.

Let me know in the comments what you would use these bags for.
